The Water Pollution Control Plant is responsible for treating and purifying the water and waste channeled through the City Sewer System. At the facility, primary, secondary and tertiary treatment takes place and the remaining sludge is incinerated. The facility also has contracts with other communities to collect and refine their wastewater.
