Pay Bills Online

As of June 27, 2007, you may pay parking tickets through the Internet.  Beginning July 1, 2007, you may also pay City of Auburn taxes.  In the next few months, other types of bills will also be available including the water and sewer bill.  You may pay these bills by visiting www.municipal-payments.com, or you can access this website by clicking on “Pay Bills Online” from the City of Auburn website on the home page.

At this time, the City of Auburn only accepts MasterCard or Visa.  If paying by electronic check, you will need your bank account number and the bank routing number.  These can be found at the bottom of your check.

Once you access the attached link, and accept the terms and conditions, you will need your plate number or ticket number to access the parking tickets.  To access the City tax bill, you will need to enter your name and the street name (without the word street, drive, road, avenue, etc.).  If you own more than one parcel, you can pay all outstanding amounts at one time.

The site is encrypted for your protection.  Payments can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  There is a fee to use this service.  The fee for credit or debit cards will depend on the amount of your transaction.  The fee for electronic checks is $1.50 for the first bill paid and $.90 for each additional bill.  The fee will be listed on the payment screen, before you finalize the transaction.

If you have any questions, please contact the City Treasurer’s office at (315) 255-4144 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  You can also email the Treasurer’s office at rgauthier@ci.auburn.ny.us
