It is the mission of the Department of Public Works to provide, plan, develop, operate and maintain a broad variety of traditional functions in a responsive, efficient and cost effective manner.
The Division of Sewer Maintenance of the Public Works Department maintains the City s sewer system, which consists of 109 miles of sanitary sewers.
