Sidewalk Program
The City of Auburn provides the opportunity for residents who choose to repair their sidewalks and to residents who may be required to repair their walks in accordance with the local ordinance to pay for this work through their taxes over a five-year period. The work is contracted annually by the Engineering Department through the open competitive bid process.
For current costs under the 2008 Sidewalk Program contact the Engineering Department at 315-255-4129.
As stated above, residents may pay for the repairs or replacement on their taxes at a six percent (6%) annual interest rate over a five-year period.
