The City of Auburn provides an opportunity for resident to pay for sidewalks through their taxes over a five-year period at a 6% annual interest rate. This is offered to both property owners that choose to repair their sidewalks and to those that may be required to repair their walks. This work is contracted annually by the Engineering Department through the open competitive bid process.
