Records of births and deaths that occur in the City of Auburn are recorded and preserved by the Registrar in the City Clerk's office. Our records date back to 1881; however, it was not mandatory to record until 1914.
Additional services provided by the Registrar include, issuance of birth and death certificates, burial permits, paternity acknowledgements, certified copies of death certificates, and genealogical searches.
