In accordance with New York State Agriculture and Markets Law and City of Auburn Municipal Code, residents of Auburn that own a dog are required to purchase a dog license. A dog license can be purchased at the City Clerks Office with proof of rabies vaccination. License fees are as follows:
$7.50 for spayed and neutered dogs
$12.50 for unspayed or unneutered dogs (under 6 months old)
$15.50 for unspayed or unneutered dogs (over 6 months old)
$2.00 for replacement of lost dog tags
