Doubledays Baseball Looking for Host Families for the 2017 Summer Season
For Immediate Release April 17, 2017

Auburn, NY – The Auburn Doubledays of the New York Penn League, Single A Short Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are seeking host families for the upcoming 2017 season.

Anyone in the greater Auburn community can help provide a home away from home for a Doubledays player this season. Host families are asked to provide players with their own bedroom along with a comfortable environment for them to live in along with access to laundry and a kitchen.

Players will be in need of housing from mid-June through early September. Host families may house more than one player in their homes as well. Host families are not required to provide meals or transportation for players.

Many host families have stayed in touch with “their” players for years after they leave Auburn as they continued to their journey to Major League Baseball.  The Auburn Doubledays and Washington Nationals hope you will consider opening your home to a player this season. Please contact Adam Winslow at 315-255-2489 or adam.winslow@auburndoubledays.com with any questions you may have.

Anyone interested in being a host family please contact Doubledays General Manager Adam Winslow by calling 315-255-2489 or emailing adam.winslow@auburndoubledays.com.
